Following our recent webinars introducing the new Member App, we have received several questions from customers.
Below is a list of FAQs that address the most common queries raised since the announcement of the new platform.
No. Although both businesses are under the ClearCourse umbrella, they will remain separate and we have no intentions of merging them.
We aim to release the app to intelligentgolf customers at the end of February 2026. As soon as we have an exact date, this will be communicated with all clubs.
Yes, the new app will include all the features of igMember, therefore the igMember app will be discontinued in due course. It will not be switched off immediately, instead will run alongside the new app until further notice.
We will provide assets to help you move your members to the new app. When logging in for the first time, members will see their club(s), and all of their data will be immediately available.
Yes. We understand that golfers’ scores are extremely important to them. The app is powered by the same back-end intelligentgolf system, so it will retain the same information.
Yes. Our pricing graphic at the bottom of this article explains the pricing structure. Clubs can still choose to pay for the app, purchase a branded version of the app, or allow members to pay.
Yes, but only on the 'standard version' app paid for by members. Members can choose to remove the ads in the app by upgrading to the ad-free version (£9.99 per year). All users that are members of golf clubs that have chosen to pay for unlimited member subscriptions, will see no adverts on their app.
Yes. It is being rolled out ahead of the main launch through a beta testing period, with a number of select clubs chosen to test it.
