The website is the primary means for them getting the information they require, but sometimes the club wants to be even more proactive.

• Self service membership details - a member can update their own phone numbers and email address via the website, stop relying on the out of date details at the back of your diary!

At intelligentgolf we host our own dedicated email servers, to maximise delivery performance, minimise the risk of our emails being flagged as SPAM, and also to build deep integration into the system.  This allows full delivery reporting, link performance, bounced email capture to all be handled directly within the one database.

Automated Emails

Taking away as much of the administrative burden as possible, intelligentgolf will automatically email members when key events occur.  This includes competitions being finalised, confirmation of entry into competitions and booking of general tee times.

Emails can even be sent automatically to visitors a couple of days after they have played your course, inviting them to book their next visit, with an optional discount voucher or other promotion.

Social Media Integration

Allowing the club to embrace the new opportunities in social media could not be easier.  With direct Twitter integration, your public news and course status updates can automatically be tweeted, with no additional effort required.

Facebook and Twitter feeds can also be directly embedded into your website content with a simple tag. This allows for end-to-end integration of your communication tools.

For members, bragging about their golf prowess on facebook or twitter has never been easier!  One click sharing allows their round of golf, with hole by hole scoring to be shared to their facebook stream or twitter feed.

Text Messaging

While the growth of smart phone usage, and the accessibility of email on mobiles has lessened the need for text messaging, it is a valid communication method, especially for last minute or urgent messages.  With a single click, a competition administrator can text everyone in a competition startsheet to let them know the competition is cancelled, or the tee sheet administrator can inform all visitors and members on a day that there is a fog delay.

When a visitor books online to play golf at your course, or a society fill in an enquiry form on the website, their details can automatically populate the intelligentgolf mailing list database.  With integrated response tracking, and personalised messages, contacting visitors with special offers has never been easier.

No need to worry about sending unsolicited messages either, with an opt-out option, click to confirm and a one click unsubscribe, you can be sure about keeping in touch, but not harassing your visitors.

Calendar Integration
